The Young Goose Academy offers its athletes also the opportunity to follow a normal school path at the Würtharena. In fact, the company has been collaborating for some time with the Walter Study Center in Trento, which operates with the acknowledgment of the D.G.P. TN n° 986 of 03.02.1995, a school with many years of experience in the field of school preparation. The Walter Study Center is based in Trento, being involved for more than 25 years in preparing for the Eligibility, Middle Licentiate and Maturity Exams, as well as University support, all with excellent results. The teachers of the middle and high schools of the Walter Study Center come to the Würtharena, from Monday to Thursday, giving lessons to the students and allowing them to realize, through targeted programs and a teaching method that takes into consideration the characteristics of each child, his scholastic, cultural and professional aspirations, while best reconciling the intense competitive activity of the athletes with an equally careful school preparation. The athletes/students are followed from a human, emotional and relational point of view, both by the Heads of the Walter Study Center, for coordination activities, and by their teachers, directly in the places where they train. Working in small groups and in a family school environment, strengthens the adolescent’s ability to self-regulate, to relate to the world and to others in a realistic and creative way through full self-expression.
